This announcement comes with lots of joy and a huge smile on my face! We are hiring! Hiring an Associate Senior Photographer, with a focus on senior girl portraits.
I’ve never felt so right about a decision, and this is a move in our business that has been a long time coming! We are so excited to warmly welcome a photographer on to the Leigh Elizabeth team, to work and laugh and grow together.
What we are looking for:
Someone who has a natural eye, gift, and passion for senior photography
Someone who is organized
A great work ethic is super important to us, as well as someone who loves to learn, can work and problem solve independently and is very responsible
Someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and contribute to the team
Someone who is very familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
Working knowledge of a camera and shooting in manual (not required, but very helpful)
Someone who values communication, feedback and growth (personally and professionally)
It is a bonus if you already have experience shooting seniors, but it is not necessary to apply for this position
Someone who enjoys babies and little kiddos! We have twin 11 month olds and a three year old.
Things you can expect from us, if you join the team:
How to become a successful senior photographer
The basics of using social media to grow a platform within a small business
What it takes to make a senior session successful
Constant feedback and encouragement
This is a position that is compatible with another part-time or full-time job.
This position does require that you be available evenings for sessions, at team events, and regular weekly team meetings (once per week, weekday morning meetings).
You do not need to own your own photography equipment, but if you already do, that is a big bonus.
Our interview process is not quick, but it’s effective, so get ready!
We are not in a rush to hire, and we won’t if we don’t find the right fit for our team.
We will be training you to have the “Leigh Elizabeth look,” while drawing out your personal style as a photographer.
