A few weeks ago, I invited some of my friends and past clients to my office with their oh so cute kiddos. I wanted to do a trial run of children’s portraits in my office. It is such a neat little space, and has some awesome natural light. It was so fun!!! We did short little twenty minute sessions, which is quite perfect for little one’s attention and “happy mood” time spans. I love getting to see client’s kids grow over time, so it was really fun to see some familiar faces.

Children’s portraits are a funny thing. I think we often anticipate or desire a certain image for our kids, a face we want them to make, or we have a pinterest idea in our idea….when in all actuality, every kid is different and unique, and portraits highlight that so beautifully. Of course it can be stressful if a kiddo is having an off day or the timing is slightly off for what suits them best, but I love how these turned out – imperfectly so, so perfect. These kiddos are just precious.
