I had too much fun shooting Jake & Lindsay’s engagement session! These two are near and dear to my heart, and it’s just such an honor to be photographing their wedding. Getting to hang out with them for two hours in German Village, goofing around, laughing a ton, and seeing these two together was such a joy.

I was Lindsay and Jake’s Young Life leader when they were in high school. Lindsay was in my small group, and we grew very close while she was in high school, and have grown even closer to her as she went through college and now is an adult (with an amazing job!)!! I can’t believe it. She has become one of my dearest, most consistent friends. She is such a cheerleader for me, it seems unfair to say I was her Young Life leader and impacted her life without sharing how much she has changed me and supported me. She is one of a kind, so talented, loves and welcomes anyone that comes across her path. She truly inspires me!!! 

Jake is just as wonderful. I went to Jake & Lindsay’s engagement party a few weeks ago, and I got to share with Jake’s mom how amazing I think he is. He cares so much about Lindsay, he is hilarious and quirky, he is kind and patient, and I just think he is perfect for Lindsay! 

Lindsay & Jake, I can’t wait to celebrate you two at your wedding next year! Love you both!
